Vivek Saxena, Vice President
Vivek has over 13 years of work experience in various senior roles across IT, Internet and Consumer Services.

Currently, he is the co-Founder and CEO of ZipCash, India’s leading mobile payments company. ZipCash is an innovative company focusing in the area of micro-payments, enabling consumers to transact online and offline without a credit/ debit card in a safe, secure and convenient manner. ZipCash was the first company to launch the prepaid model for mobile payments in India, with the objective to empower and enable any customer with a basic mobile handset to be a part of the digital revolution.

Prior to ZipCash, Vivek has spent 6 years in various senior management roles at Microsoft. In his last assignment as Industry Manager – Retail, he was responsible for formulating Microsoft’s entry strategy for the Retail vertical in India, which included building up the team, setting up the Partner ecosystem and bringing in best practices & learning from Microsoft globally. Prior to that, he headed the Global Accounts vertical in India, a $35 Million business unit, which consisted of some of Microsoft’s largest blue chip customers such as Citibank, HSBC, Siemens, Unilever, HP and Accenture. Before that, he was one of Microsoft’s 40 Global Business Managers worldwide where he managed the relationship with the Tata Group (consisting of 80+ Tata group companies and subsidiaries) globally.

Prior to Microsoft, Vivek has worked with Wipro and leading advertising and media companies such as JWT and Mindshare.

Vivek has an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and Welingkars, University of Mumbai and has done his B.Sc (Physics) from St.Xavier’s, Mumbai
