 Sanjay Aggarwal, General Manager (Operations) has joined the E-ticketing project of Indian Railways in September 2005 and in 4 years has been able to increase the volume by more than 30 times. Apart from time during his tenure, E-Ticketing was extended to all trains and Tatkal bookings, Scheme for Frequent Travellers (SOFT) & Mumbai Suburban Season Ticketing (MSST) were launched.
Special contribution is towards containing the Chargebacks (Frauds) which is biggest issue in today´s online world.
Before joining IRCTC, Sanjay Aggarwal has spent around 10 years in Indian Railways in Materials Management Department looking after Purchases, Warehousing, Logistics etc.
A career bureaucrat of Indian Railways with more than 20 years of experience in Construction, Logistics and General Administration.
Vivek Sood (Legal Expert)
 Vivek Sood is a renowned Criminal Lawyer, practicing in the Supreme Court. He specializes in Offences under Indian Penal Code; Business & Economic Offences; Cyber Crimes; and Telecom Crimes. He is a prolific writer and author of two books 'Cyber Crimes, Electronic Evidence & Investigation: Legal Issues" and "Cyber Law Simplified" and has written numerous articles on diverse legal issues. Vivek is shortly releasing his third book. He is the visiting faculty at Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Academy; Amity Law School; IMT Ghaziabad and has delivered over 200 lectures on Criminal and Cyber Laws. Even though professionally he has been involved in various important cases, he has been an active Member of several Internet security committees of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Association of India, Internet Society (a global body to promote the Internet) and an active speaker on legal issues at various forums.
