The association was set up with the objective of promoting Internet to the common masses across India. CCAOI is responsible for bringing to the forefront and voicing the woes of the entrepreneurs, at the required forums on their behalf and thereby, protecting their interest and helping them establish and sustain a world class infrastructure, which in turn would facilitate affordable internet services to the “aam aadmi.”To achieve this, CCAOI interacts and works closely with the Government, the Regulators, Police, Policy Makers and major Industry Chambers. Additionally, CCAOI provides a common ground to the Solution Providers (Hardware/Software) and suppliers to gain easy access to their potential clients and promote their products and services either during events or through personal meetings.
Everything that CCAOI has done or achieved, since we began operations, stems from our Purpose and Vision. The key aspect of our vision is that CCAOI be an enabler for the India Model and catalyst of the Internet for positive change in India - a responsibility that we continue to carry.
The association has successfully brought thousands of Cybercafes and CSC's across many towns and villages in India under one platform. This initiative is helping to bridge the digital divide with an ever-increasing number of Indians accessing Internet for information, communication and entertainment in a cost-effective manner. CCAOI affiliated cafes have redefined the positioning for cyber cafe, essentially as service provision stores.
